New Free AI Model – Databricks DBRX Instruct

First up, we’ve added a new big player to our team of ChatLabs LLMs, the Databricks DBRX Instruct model, that can be used for free by all users. This new AI model is super smart and does a great job at understanding and responding to a wide range of natural language tasks like summarizing texts, answering questions, and more. It's really good at what it does, and we invite you to try!

Customize Your AI with New LLM Settings Menu

We know everyone uses AI a bit differently, so we’re happy to provide our new LLM Settings menu. With this new option, you can tweak the AI settings to make it work just right for you. You can change things like Temperature, Context Length, and even add your own instructions for the AI model.

ChatLabs LLM Settings

- Temperature: This setting changes how creative or varied the AI's responses are. If you set it higher, you'll get more unique, creative answers.

- Context Length: By changing this, you tell the AI how much of the past conversation to consider when giving a response. If you choose a longer context, it takes a bit more time but remembers more of the chat. A shorter context makes things quicker and cheaper since the cost depends on how much info the AI model has to process.

- Instructions: Now, you can also tell the AI exactly what you want it to do by typing in your own instructions. This gives you more control over the chat.

Upcoming Feature: Voice Input/Output

We’re currently working on a new feature: soon, you’ll be able to talk to the AI bot using your voice and have it speak back to you. This new feature will make using ChatLabs even easier and more fun.
