Use Writingmate as a desktop or mobile app

Writingmate is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means you can install it directly from your browser on any device. Once installed, it works just like a native app with its own icon and window.

Desktop (Chrome, Edge)

  1. Open writingmate.ai in your browser
  2. Click the install icon in the address bar (or go to browser menu → "Install Writingmate")
  3. Click "Install" in the prompt

Desktop (Safari on Mac)

  1. Open writingmate.ai in Safari
  2. Click File → "Add to Dock"

Mobile (iOS Safari)

  1. Open writingmate.ai in Safari
  2. Tap the Share button at the bottom
  3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
  4. Tap "Add"

Mobile (Android Chrome)

  1. Open writingmate.ai in Chrome
  2. Tap the three-dot menu
  3. Tap "Add to Home Screen" or "Install App"
  4. Tap "Add"

Once installed, Writingmate launches in its own window and provides a seamless, app-like experience without needing to download anything from an app store.
