Promo Code Activation

Writingmate sometimes provides promotion or coupon codes for a specific campaign. A code can have an expiration date, eligible plans, billing-period rules, or a limited number of redemptions. Use the exact terms supplied with the offer.

Apply a code during a signed-in upgrade

1. Sign in to Writingmate and open Profile Settings → Subscription.
2. Select See all plans or another available upgrade action.
3. Choose the plan and monthly or yearly billing period included in the offer.
4. Continue to the Stripe checkout page.
5. Select Add promotion code, enter the code from the offer, and select Apply.
6. Check that the order summary shows the expected discount before you complete the purchase.

Writingmate enables promotion codes on its standard Stripe-hosted subscription checkout. If Add promotion code does not appear, that checkout does not accept a code. Do not complete the purchase if the expected discount is missing.

Legacy and campaign checkout pages

Some Writingmate checkout pages show a Coupon Code field directly in the order summary instead of Stripe's Add promotion code link. This is a campaign-specific checkout, not the general promotion-code redemption route.

Use this field only when the same official Writingmate offer provides a code for that page. Select Apply, then confirm that the field shows Applied and that the order summary shows the offer's price.

Do not use an unrelated code or treat this page as a way to redeem an existing subscription credit. If the displayed total does not match the offer, stop and contact support before payment. The field and button can look different on mobile.

If a code does not work

• Copy the code again without leading or trailing spaces.
• Confirm that the offer includes the selected plan and billing period.
• Check the offer's expiration date and any new-customer or redemption limits.
• Make sure you are signed in to the intended Writingmate account and workspace.
• Return to the official offer link. Some promotions use a dedicated checkout rather than a reusable code.
• If the checkout says the code is invalid or does not show a discount, do not submit payment. Contact Writingmate Support with the offer link or a screenshot of the offer. Do not send payment-card details.

A promotion code normally applies only during checkout. It does not automatically change a completed charge or an existing renewal. See the Writingmate Refund Policy before purchasing.

AppSumo licenses are different

An AppSumo license code is not a subscription promotion code. Do not enter it in Add promotion code or Coupon Code.
