Sintra AI has an alternative that is worth a comparison: Pricing, features, models, and workflows. Is WritingMate, really, the best Sintra AI alternative in 2025?
There are dozens of helpful and capable AI models, and many of them have specific use cases. Hello, I am Artem and I have been writing about AI technology and various chatbots for the last two years. I work hands-on with AI tools every day, testing, comparing, and helping people find the best fit for their needs.
If you’re exploring tools like Sintra AI, you’ve probably seen its promise of role-based automation.
In my experience, there are much more flexible and cost-effective options in 2025.
Whether you want to do marketing, do some web development, working with sheets or code, search and analyzing web data or make a better customer support... There is a model for that.
My article compares Sintra AI and WritingMate.ai. We are going to compare pricing, features, flexibility, ease of use & overall value. I’ll also give personal notes based on real usage & my own experience of using both of those tools. There will be three examples of real-world use cases.
Here is how agents that are typical for Sintra look inside its competitor that has all the best AI models and tools, and is much more affordable: Writingmate.ai

Why Compare Sintra AI and WritingMate.ai?
Sintra AI became popular because it is giving plug-and-play AI helpers for specific roles like “copywriter,” “customer support,” or “analyst.” These agents are tied to one role each, and users pay separately for access to them. Does not seem to be convenient at first, but it makes sense for quite a lot of users because price point of using even a couple of agents is not so cheap.
My analogy here would be Adobe and its subscription model, where you can choose to buy subscriptions for each service (f.e. Photoshop, Illustrator) separately. But what is different is that Sintra does not let you easily have all at once and with no limits :(
Unlike Sintra, WritingMate.ai gives users access to over 200 large language models (LLMs) from providers like OpenAI (o3-mini, GPT-4o), Anthropic (Claude 4 Sonnet), Mistral (+Mixtral, also Instruct), Google Gemini, Meta Llama 4, and much more. You can create custom assistants, chat with files, run automations, and generate high-quality images — all under one subscription starting from 9 dollars per month.
This isn’t just about features. It’s also about control, scale, use cases and long-term value with your budget in mind. Below is example of what Sintra offers usually, and Writingmate, due to its multi-model nature and all-in-one policy, can give a lot more for even smaller price than a couple of Sinatra separate agents.

Key Facts about Sintra and Writingmate
I have compiled this table comparison to help you to understand the key differences in a glance.
Sintra AI | WritingMate.ai | |
---|---|---|
Core idea | Pick individual “helpers” (copywriter, data analyst, etc.) | Single workspace with model switcher & custom assistants |
Monthly price* | $39 per helper or $97 for “Sintra X” (all helpers) | Premium $9.99, Pro $19.99, Ultimate $39.99 |
Free trial / guarantee | 14-day money-back | Free tier; cancel anytime |
Model access | Each helper sits atop a proprietary GPT-tier model | 200+ LLMs & image models; live web search |
Stand-out features | Ready-made AI personas, 90+ one-click “power-ups” | Model comparison, chat-with-files, no-code mini-apps, voice I/O |
Typical user | Solopreneurs wanting role-based bots | Students, devs, marketers needing multi-model flexibility |
Ease of Use
Some tools promise power but are a nightmare to learn. Not here. Both tools don't have a wild learning curve and can be used by beginners properly. That said, Sintra often expects from you to have a variety of basic skills.
So while Sintra AI is built for being simple in someways, WritingMate.ai is often even more beginner-friendly and also much more flexible. Its interface is clean, intuitive, and doesn’t require a learning curve even though there are dozens of worthy features and 200+ best AI models to use in one web app.
I’ve personally seen users with no AI background upload a file and analyze it with AI, create a GPT-4o-based assistant, vibe code with success, and compare model results within minutes.
Here’s why it’s easy:
It has a clear dashboard with labeled sections for chats, files, image generation, and split-view
Prompt history, suggested actions, and assistant templates available from the start
You basically get a dozen of AI agent and can build your own as well, with Writingmate AI even in its basic version
Nothing to install or configure, it’s all right in the browser
Pricing Comparison
Let’s talk numbers, because budget matters. (spoiler: Writingmate seems to be many times more affordable for the value)
Sintra AI Pricing:
As I have mentioned, access to each one agent is nearly forty dollars per month, and Sintra X will cost you nearly a hundred in 2025.
$39/month per individual agent
$97/month for Sintra X (access to all agents for one user)
A discount on annual plans
Pricing scales per user and costs grow with your team. It is not too easy to share your plan with a team, you would rather need to connect new users with new costs.
WritingMate.ai Pricing
Here, there is an offer for any kind of budget. You don't need to have API keys, vast knowledge and experience. You can stat even for free, and choose a much more affordable subscription that includes all agents, useful features, dozens of most popular AI models.
Free forever tier for casual use with multiple AI models avaliable;
Premium: $9.99/month (billed yearly), a huge variety of models avaliable;
Pro: $19.99/month (includes Claude 3.5 Sonnet, GPT-4o almost unlimited, Gemini 1.5);
Ultimate: $39.99/month (adds Claude 4, Mistral Large, image models, and more).

My Verdict: WritingMate gives you more models, features, and flexibility at a lower per-user cost. It’s a better long-term deal for solo users, startups, and even teams.
Here is a brief recap of some of Writingmate features.

Real-World Use Cases That Show the Difference
I’m Artem, an AI tools enthusiast and writer who works hands-on with content creation, SEO, and product building. After testing both WritingMate and Sintra in real workflows, I’ve noticed some subtle but important differences between them. Particularly, in its customization, simplicity, and value. Let’s now go through three common real-world scenarios and how each tool performs.
1. SEO Blog Writing for a Startup
Producing optimized blog content is one of the most frequent needs I face as a content strategist. With Sintra, you can create a structured article by guiding the agent, but it sometimes requires fiddling with prompt structure and context windows. In contrast, WritingMate’s built-in SEO Article Rewriter agent simplifies the process, just provide a topic or draft, and it delivers SEO-conscious content without extra tuning.
After a few uses, I noticed WritingMate was:
More reliable with formatting for H2s, meta descriptions, and semantic paragraphing
Faster to adapt to tone of voice with minimal prompt effort
Built-in access to models like GPT-4 or Claude 3 (depending on your settings)
➡️ Try WritingMate’s SEO Agent
Here is an example of prompt being executed with a sea-friendly article on a niche topic that is made for a company that specializes in pet health. Make sure to double check most important pieces of info, because even though AI improves and Writingmate has the best models available, AI in any app, be it GPT, Sintra or Writingmate, can still make mistakes.

2. Creating Mini-Apps or Bots for Telegram
Sintra’s interface for building custom agents is flexible, but it often has a somewhat steeper learning curve. I’ve worked with it, and while powerful, it often feels like building something technical. There’s a bit of friction for marketers or solopreneurs alike.
WritingMate, for example, offers a Telegram Mini App Assistant that’s essentially a plug-and-play bot designer. You don’t need to think about chaining tools or scripting logic. I was able to set up a fully functional agent in under 10 minutes.
It’s just simpler, and for most people. That’s the whole point of AI! You can create mini apps and bots not just for telegram, but for another platforms, and also have great coding ability with the best coding models like o3-mini, Llama 4 or Claude 4 Opus.
Check out mini app agent by clicking "Agents" in Writingmate left menu, right on new.writingmate.ai.

3. Creating Visual or Social Media Content
Sintra allows for multimodal workflows, including image generation, but there’s no clear, guided “assistant” for visuals. WritingMate gives you dedicated agents like the AI Image Assistant and SMM Captions & Tags Generator, which I use regularly for preparing LinkedIn posts, banners, and even image prompts.
WritingMate outperforms Sintra here thanks to its narrow focus. The agents are pre-tuned for:
Virality and visual relevance
Fast caption + hashtag bundles
Matching content with brand tone
Again, no engineering brain required for those tasks.

More Affordable for What You Get
Let’s not overlook pricing. Sintra can get costly as you scale, especially if you need multiple high-context agents using premium models. For solopreneurs and smaller teams, this is not always the most cost-effective solution. WritingMate, meanwhile, stays affordable across tiers, with no hidden fees for agent use. It's straightforward and sustainable—ideal for small teams, freelancers, and content professionals.
You can compare costs transparently with both platforms, but WritingMate clearly offers better ROI for most day-to-day use cases.
A Growing List of Built-In Agents on WritingMate
What I appreciate most about WritingMate is that it comes with a suite of prebuilt, genuinely useful agents that are ready to use. Here’s a quick overview of what you get access to:
After choosing one, you can jump straight into chat mode and get things done.
TLDR – Article Summarizer
AI Image Assistant
SEO Article Rewriter
Cooking Helper
AI Text Detector
Telegram Mini App Builder
Free Tool Builder
Миша – Snarky Driving Instructor Bot (RU)
Medical Student Helper
Market Scout
SMM Captions & Tags Assistant
Each of these agents is focused, pre-prompted, and tuned for the specific task they’re named for. You can use all of them inside new.writingmate.ai, no installations or API keys needed.
Create Your Own Custom Agent in Seconds
If you need something unique, WritingMate lets you create a custom agent with ease.
You don’t need to code or know AI prompt architecture. Here’s what you can control in the simple agent builder interface:
Name & Icon – personalize your agent's appearance
Model – choose between GPT-4, Claude 3, or others depending on availability
Description – tell the assistant what it’s for
Instructions – this is where you guide its tone, structure, and expertise
Temperature & Context Settings – fine-tune creativity and memory length
Knowledge Uploads – upload files to create agents with internal knowledge
Starter Prompts – provide examples of inputs to help guide the user
What I love here is that it's not overwhelming. You can be up and running with a smart AI agent tailored to your workflow in minutes without diving into any technical docs or spending hours to create your first AI agent.

Model Access and Flexibility
Sintra AI hides which models power its agents. You don’t get to choose them, and each agent handles only one role.
With WritingMate.ai, you’re in control. You can:
Choose from over 200 models, including GPT‑4o, Claude 3.7 Sonnet, even Claude 4, Mistral Large, Gemini 1.5, and LLaMA 4 Scout and Maverick. Also image-generating models such as Stable Diffusion, Flux.ai and GPT4o image generator, previously known as DALLE.
Run prompts through multiple models side-by-side (perfect for testing accuracy or tone)
Build custom assistants tailored to your workflow or any team needs
Access specialized models for writing, code, finance, summarization, images, and more
But why does this all matter? I would state three reasons at least.
You don’t rely on a black box
You can scale your usage without hitting paywalls
You can compare model outputs and pick what fits your task

Real Productivity Features
Sintra AI offers “Power-Ups” and tools like automated email or content generation, but these are mostly prebuilt workflows attached to agents.
WritingMate.ai gives you creative and operational control:
Chat with Files: Upload and ask questions about PDFs, DOCX, spreadsheets, and even images
Split-View: Send the same prompt to multiple models at once and compare outputs. You can see, how much time and tokens does every of the two use, and you can see differences in their answers. With such comparison, you can choose, what models suit your needs better. Quite a unique feature, if you ask me.
Custom Assistants: Build reusable, multi-step workflows using any model. Have discussed it previously in the article with three examples.
Image Generation: Use DALL·E 3, Stable Diffusion, Flux 1.1, and others to generate visuals without needing separate apps
MCP Integrations: Connect WritingMate to external tools like Google Drive, Notion, or custom APIs
Want some proof? Try uploading a 100-page PDF and ask “Summarize each section.” It works.
Who Is Sintra AI Good For?
If you want one AI “employee” to handle a narrow task and you’re okay with fixed capabilities, Sintra is easy to use and does what it says. However, if you want:
Cross-role flexibility
Transparent pricing
File-based workflows
Custom logic
Better model access
…you’ll quickly outgrow Sintra.
Some users on Reddit and Trustpilot have also mentioned repeating issues like:
Limited transparency when it comes to models and policies
Lack of refund clarity
Confusion when switching between agents
Problems with UI and user experience

Who Is WritingMate.ai Perfect For?
In my experience, WritingMate.ai is ideal if you want one tool to work with many tasks, writing, research, chat with documents, workflows, and even visuals.
It’s built for creators, analysts, marketers, students, devs, and businesses who want to work smart, not just fast. Great if you are solopreneur, also suitable if you study a lot, if you are a creative or if you do both technical and creative tasks.
You’ll benefit most if you:
Work with files or long documents
Want to compare GPT-4o with Claude 4, o3-mini or Gemini. We also have comparisons in out blog, but Writingmate lets you see and compare answers live.
Need to run LLM-based automations
Prefer unified billing instead of paying for each use case
Want to grow your skills without switching platforms
Want to explore more? The team regularly updates their blog with use cases and release notes.

Recap of Sintra Alternative vs Sintra AI. Features, Personas and Integrations
Here is a more detailed spreadsheet where I tried to summarize various features and possibilities of each of the two
Area | Sintra AI | WritingMate.ai |
---|---|---|
Breadth of AI models | Proprietary GPT-based engine under each persona. Limited GPT learning base. | 200 + models including GPT-4o, Claude 4, Gemini Flash, Llama 3 & DALLE-3, easy to switch and use from one single app, no API needed. |
Persona depth | 12 role-focused helpers (copywriter, SEO, VA, etc.) with guided questions and 100+-language support. | Unlimited assistants you design (or pick templates) on top of any model; can fine-tune on your files. |
Automations / power-ups | 90+ 1-click actions (generate post, design profile, etc.). | No-code builder to ship your own mini-apps & embedded widgets. |
File handling | Can “remember” uploaded files for context | Two-way “chat with files” for PDFs, Word, spreadsheets & images. |
Image generation | Some helpers trigger image power-ups | Native access to DALLE-3, Stable Diffusion 3, Flux 1.1, Recraft V3 at Pro & Ultimate tiers. |

Final Verdict: WritingMate is the Smarter and Cheaper Sintra AI Alternative
While Sintra is powerful and very decent, it leans slightly more into a developer-oriented space and is also less budget-friendly. WritingMate, on the other hand, is built for real users with real tasks f.e. marketers, founders, writers, educators. I would say it is simpler, More practical, and human-centered, in my opinion.
It’s more accessible, more intuitive, and with its growing library of agents, it covers the most common workflows you actually need. That, without needing a deep learning curve or a support team.
If you want to check it out yourself, I recommend trying it via new.writingmate.ai. And if you’re curious how it works under the hood, the WritingMate blog is a great resource too, with tutorials, news and details on various AI models and their use cases.
Sintra AI offers some degree of simplicity. But WritingMate.ai offers power, top AI technologies available instead of just an older GPT version, and does not add a lot of complexity. You get access to more models, more tools, and better workflows, all in a polished and user-friendly interface.
It’s what I personally use daily, and what I recommend to anyone serious about using AI in 2025. If you’ve outgrown fixed agents and want real flexibility, go to new.writingmate.ai and try it yourself.
